Solar systems for businesses and industry in Kosovo
Businesses use the most electricity during the day, when the panels produce the most. A solar system on the roof therefore lowers the power bill directly. TeraVolti designs and installs systems for shops, offices, warehouses and factories.
Capacity based on your consumption
There is no standard size. One building needs 30 kWp, another 100, 300 or 500 kWp. Before we design, we look at:
- monthly and yearly electricity consumption;
- how consumption is spread through the day;
- the space on the roof or on the ground, and the orientation of the building;
- the capacity of the electrical connection;
- whether a battery makes sense.
In Kosovo, 1 kWp produces about 1,250 kWh a year. A 200 kWp system produces about 250,000 kWh a year. We calculate the saving in the quote from your tariff and your business consumption.
High-power panels
For commercial projects we use 600 to 700 W panels. They put more capacity on the same roof. We also choose the panel by efficiency, the manufacturer’s warranty and how it matches the inverter.
Batteries, car chargers and energy management
The solar system can be connected to:
- a battery (BESS) of 100, 200, 500 kWh or more, for electricity you do not use immediately;
- chargers for electric cars;
- an energy management system (EMS), which follows production, consumption and the battery.
