On-grid or hybrid: which system suits you in Ferizaj?
An on-grid system is connected to the KEDS grid. During the day you use the energy from your panels, and any energy you don’t use goes to the grid. Most of our projects in Ferizaj are of this type. A hybrid system also has a hybrid inverter and a battery. The battery charges during the day and gives you power in the evening or when the grid is down. The Musliu family in Ferizaj chose a 15 kWp hybrid system. For businesses with high consumption we also offer industrial batteries (BESS). A typical home system is about 8 kWp, and the final size is set after the site visit, based on consumption and the roof.
Permits in Ferizaj: municipality, KEDS and ERO
Every grid-connected system needs consent from the Municipality of Ferizaj, consent from KEDS and a prosumer licence from ERO (ZRRE). We prepare and submit all of them, included in the price.
- Building permit. For systems up to 7 kWp, the building does not need to be legalised or have a building permit. For systems above 7 kWp, the building must be legalised or have a valid building permit.
- KEDS. The investor must not have unpaid debts to KEDS. The investor covers the KEDS costs for upgrading the meter capacity and for the KEDS field team visit. These are usually two invoices.
- Extra work. Additional electrical work, for example on battery systems, costs extra, based on a technical assessment. If the inverter is more than 10 metres from the main supply, the investor provides the cables and materials.

Equipment, warranty and maintenance
We install equipment from certified manufacturers, with CE, TÜV and ISO certification. Our online shop carries JA Solar, Sungrow, Solis, Growatt, Deye and Pylontech. Panels carry a 15-year warranty against defects and a 30-year performance warranty. Inverters carry a 5–7 year warranty, which can be extended to 10 or 25 years depending on the model. The structure and the batteries carry a 10-year warranty, and installation work carries 1 year. After installation we provide cleaning, maintenance and servicing.
